Workplace Options was recently awarded USAID’s Inclusive Workforce
Development (IWD) Grant. We are looking for a User Design Product Manager
to manage the implementation and over site of the award.

To fulfill the grant, Workplace Options will work with a team of three
other organizations to build a training and job matching program and mobile
phone application. The project leverages the existing, but diverse,
expertise of each of the partner organizations to more efficiently connect
poor and vulnerable Indonesians to workforce development trainings and
eventually employment opportunities. The project will cover 4 provinces in
Indonesia and target 250,000 poor and vulnerable people.

The mobile application will be a learning management system that allows
users to take, be assessed and track both online and face to face
trainings. Face to Face Trainings will be done by partners and will need to
meet certain standards to be included in the system. The Learning and
Performance Staff will support the L&P manager is recruiting and
accrediting training providers both online and face to face.

We hope to translate many current face to face trainings into online
trainings, so the Learning and Performance Staff will need to help with
this process and ensure that the quality of the trainings remains and
assessments are sufficient. Trainings or sets of trainings may need to be
changed and or redesigned, therefore the Learning and Performance Staff
needs experience in in curriculum development and learning program design.

Description:
 Support the Learning and Performance Manager in reaching the objectives

of the grant
 Work with stakeholders to set curriculum
 Recruit, accredit and assess training partners
 Effectively meet deadlines throughout a project
 Work with training partners to translate face to face trainings into
online modules.

Requirements:
 At least 4 years’ experience in adult learning/education and or workforce
development training
 Experience working with online learning is preferred, but not required
 Experience in curriculum development and design
 Ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders  Effective communication
(oral, written, presentation) skills
 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (above average Excel skills)
 Strong language skills in both English and Indonesian  Adaptive, problem
solving orientation.

The job will start upon receipt of the grant. The pilot will last for 18
months, if successful the entire grant is 5 years.
