Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik seek CRG Program Manager based in Bandung

Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik partner of Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better.  We've begun to build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik.  To this end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Currently Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:



CHILD RIGHT GOVERNANCE (CRG) PROGRAM MANAGER - CREATIVE
1 position, based in Bandung

ROLE PURPOSE:
The CRG Program Manager will lead all activities of the Strengthened Civil Society & Inclusive and Empowered Youth (CREATIVE) Project in West Java Province.  This will include ensuring all program activities are implemented according to plan and at a high-level of quality; all reporting and planning is completed; all communications are completed in a timely and accurate manner; coordination with key external stakeholders; all child safeguarding controls are enforced; and financial and administrative management adheres to Save the Children and Donors policies, regulations, and good practices.  S/he will also actively participate on the Extended Management Team (EMT) and systematically share project knowledge within Save the Children in Indonesia. 

Strengthened Civil Society & Inclusive and Empowered Youth (CREATIVE) is a project that focus on strengthening local Community based Organization (CBO) including youth representatives to engage and influence district and provincial level government and private sector actors to create access to and allocate budget for market driven Business, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (BTVET), apprenticeship and decent work opportunities for youth. The 3 years project is funded by EU and will aim to empower youth and civil society to influence and engage the private sector and local government to promote access to youth employment opportunities contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable economic development. The project will work through local NGOs (BAHTERA and KAP) collaborated with stakeholders such as district secretariat (Sekretariat Daerah) and departments/offices responsible for education, Manpower, social affairs and small and medium enterprise. The project will be implemented in 20 selected villages of two districts (Garut and Sukabumi).
