We are currently searching for Local Key Experts for potential future transport staffing needs in our Indonesian Office.

The general qualifications required for each post are:

Position	Description
National
Roads/Highway Engineer	Qualifications: Civil Engineering Degree Experience: 15+ years in road design and construction supervision, DGH experience Tasks: Review of design standards, road safety warrants for various road categories Review current approach to road design for various intervention /upgrading strategies Review where design responsibility is being allocated, and investigate consistency in applying design standards Assist with development of road rehabilitation design options Assist with development of costing for road rehabilitation works and whole of life modelling
Contracts Engineer	Qualifications: Civil Engineering Degree Experience: 15+ years in road and highway engineering, DGH experience  Tasks: Review/verify current procurement documents and procedures being adopted Compare process against the recent recommendations for responsibility and authority levels Assist with review of current Pilot Performance Based Contracting Procurement and contract documentation. Review potential for introduction of community based maintenance, and help develop scope and application
Pavement Engineer/Costing Engineer	Qualifications: Civil Engineering Degree Experience: 10+ in road and highway engineering Tasks: Review of pavement design standards being adopted for National roads and rehabilitation works Development of pavement design options for a range of rehabilitation works for various design lives Life cycle costing for periodic maintenance, rehabilitation, and new construction Review pavement materials and construction standards and propose performance standards for monitoring works Preparing modified road pavement design manual
Training/Capacity Building Specialist	Qualifications: Engineering/Business Administration Degree Experience: 15+ years, DGH experience Tasks: Preparation of materials for the presentation of working papers for the various elements of the project to present to stakeholders Assist with preparation of training modules based on revised pavement design manual Assist with the preparation of training modules based on proposed procurement documentation revision, and introduction of Performance Based Contracting (PBC) for road maintenance. Assist with the organization/presentation of training workshops and seminars to disseminate project findings/ recommendations.
