Chemonics International seeks candidates for the Anticipated USAID-funded ASEAN-U.S. PROSPECT Project

Chemonics International seeks candidates for the anticipated five-year, USAID-funded ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Regional Optimization within the Political Security and Socio-Cultural Communities (PROSPECT) project. The purpose of this activity is to increase ASEAN’s capacity to resolve regional and global challenges and advance an effective, rules-based architecture for cooperation among governments in the region to uphold human dignity and the rules of law. The positions will be based in Jakarta with required regional travel.
 
Chemonics is seeking multiple long and short term specialists in the following areas:
  • Political security
  • Rule of Law
  • Governance and Institutional Strengthening
  • Human Rights
  • Gender Equality and Social Inclusion
  • Violent Extremism Prevention
  • Civil Society Engagement
 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related to international development, social sciences, law, public administration, or a relevant field of study; technical understanding of governance programming, civic society strengthening, and/or government responses to addressing transnational challenges; experience working in and collaborating with both public and private sector partners; minimum 5 years’ experience working directly or indirectly with the ASEAN secretariat or other technically-relevant ASEAN sectoral bodies, proficiency in written and oral English required.
