Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Compliance Consultant
PROJECT: USAID BERSAMA - GBV Prevention Program in Eastern Indonesia
LOCATION: Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia
DEPARTMENT: Civil Society & Education
REPORTS TO: COP
 

Subject to the competencies and skill-set of the individual, the Consultant will undertake the following activities:

Supporting the Project team in particular around the filing system in the finance and accounting, procurement, and human resources functions, including supporting the review of key F&A, procurement, and HR documents (e.g. travel approval through to advance settlement for business trip-related transactions) and ensuring that documentations are aligned with Winrock policy and procedures and donor requirements;

Ensuring that all requests to commit funds and/or to make payments as part of the grant implementation: (i) are complete and accurate in terms of the supporting documentation; (ii) have been appropriately authorized;

Supporting the Project team with developing systematic documentation, filing, and record keeping system; 

Developing and rolling-out training to HR and Accounting staff to build capacity related to filing system with the aim of improving document management across the Project, ensuring compliance with the prevailing SOP, and
Other relevant tasks may be assigned in consultation with the Consultant as needs and priorities arise.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor  degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in reputable audit firm handling audit engagements for development projects
  • Experience working with international organisations is desired
  • Strong representation, communication, organizing and interpersonal skills
  • Results orientated, an empowering manager    and team player
