Media Officer in Medan - SurfAid International

SurfAid International is a non-profit organization working towards healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. We have community based health and nutrition programs in Nias, Mentawai and Bima.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, community orientated, multi-tasking, and creative

MEDIA OFFICER

You will work with our program teams in creating and producing multi-media designs to help bring our messages in a fun way to our remote community members, to translate information into engaging graphic designs, infographs or drawings in reports and our newsletters, and produce community video or photo projects. You will work with community members to bring their stories to life to wider audience.

This position will be based in Medan, with frequently travel to SurfAid’s program sites.



Minimum Qualifications;

Bachelor degree in any discipline

More than 3 years’ experience working in media /publications/ journalism

Able to tell a human interest story using different media types

MS Publisher, corel draw, photoshop

Preferably with skills in photography or videography or design graphic
