USAID MESP vacancy: Note-taker for Private Sector Engagement Workshop

Project Summary
The USAID/Indonesia Monitoring & Evaluation Support Project (MESP) works to improve the functioning and utility of USAID Mission performance monitoring, evaluation, learning, and project design and implementation, through a combination of direct M&E support, expert technical assistance, training, and knowledge sharing.

Under MESP, MSI has been asked to design, arrange and conduct a Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Workshop to capture lessons learned and spread information about the benefit, challenges and practices connected to PSE. The outcome of this workshop will be establishment of community of practice (CoP) for PSE comprising members from the Implementation Partners (IPs) and Mission personnel.

Position Summary
MSI is seeking Note-taker to support the two days PSE Workshop under the direction of MESP. The event is currently scheduled for second week of July, 2018, in Jakarta.

Responsibilities
·         Provide accurate and full account of the information conveyed during workshop.
·         Ensure that notes taken are clear and comprehensive.
·         Take audio record of the activity as a backup file for checking and clarification.
·         Take workshop notes with meticulous detail or attention to key points.
·         Provide rough draft of workshop notes on the completion of the event.
·         Provide final workshop notes based on standard required in English at least 5 days after event.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to provide clear and succinct notes in a good format
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
