Vacancy at the Yayasan Inisiatif Perubahan Akses menuju Sehat (IPAS) Indonesia: Project Manager - PEKERTi

Yayasan Inisiatif Perubahan Akses menuju Sehat (IPAS) Indonesia works to ensure that women can obtain safe, respectful and comprehensive reproductive health care, including comprehensive post abortion care with counseling and contraception to prevent future unintended pregnancies. In their activities, Yayasan IPAS Indonesia working together with civil society, professional organization, and other experts.


We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager for PEKERTi project, based in Jakarta. Position is open for Indonesian nationality only.

Under supervision of the Director, the Project Manager – PEKERTi will leads the delivery of a high quality, innovative project that delivers immediate and lasting change for women and young women in Indonesia in accordance with the country strategy. S/he will responsible for coordinating the successful execution of the PEKERTi (Peningkatan Kesehatan Reproduksi Perempuan Terintegrasi) project- from planning and implementation to monitoring and evaluation and resource mobilization. The position is responsible for the delivery of PEKERTi project across all intervention districts and leads the engagement with key internal and external stakeholders throughout project management cycle

Responsibilities
·      Manage and coordinate the implementation of PEKERTi project activities to ensure quality and meet timeliness of the activities and delivery of outputs according to implementation, procurement plans
·      Maintains up to date knowledge and information of all programmatic and financial aspects of PEKERTi project
·      Coordinate with the Country Team, the overall work-plans (annual and quarterly) reflecting the scope of activities, timing, sequencing, cost and other inputs for the implementation of the Project activities. Ensure work-plans are recorded properly in the system
·      Provides budgetary, operational and financial management support to project team members by ensuring that:
           - project funds are disbursed properly;
        - expenditure is in accordance with the project strategy document and project work plans;
·      Monitor project performance for sub-contractors agains the project requirement; ensures overall contract compliance with Donor and Yayasan IPAS Indonesia regulations; updates project performance documentation.
·      Coordinate and facilitate the work of district project staff in the implementation of project activities.
·      Serves as the focal point for the project; facilitates communications with the client, project team, government and health officials and local partner organizations; promotes Project PEKERTi’s work by participating and presenting in conferences, meetings ‘
·      Coordinate donor reporting process and inputs
·      Ensure relevant Project activities, issues, risks, etc. are recorded properly and updated in TERRA and other project management platform and  ensure that project progress reports, human stories and other knowledge products are documented and compiles
·      Present work-plans, periodic narrative progress reports and expenditures status reports to the Country Director;
·      Provide inputs to the project related work and progress within the project scope and mandate, when needed
·      Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
·       Minimum of Master degree in Social Science/Public Health Development studies or relevant field
·       At least eight (8) years working experience in project management and coordination in national scale programs or projects
·       Experience in managing SRHR and/women-centered programs will be an advantage
·       Experience with PMD Pro and/similar project management tools, desired
·       Fluency in written and spoken Bahasa and English
·       Excellence report writing and presentation skills in English
·       Excellence skills and practice to use computer (word, excel and power point) and email/internet
·       Knowledge and skills on the use of program data for improving program performance
·       Knowledge on quality improvement of services
·       Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals in international environments    
·       This position requires extensive travel to project sites
