is an arts and education outreach organization based in Jakarta,
Indonesia. Yayasan Hidung Merah’s mission is to support the educational
and personal development of children living in underivileged
circumstances, and to promote the empowerment of youth through arts
while assisting them to become positive contributors to society. Red
Nose strives to be the pioneering force behind creative education
rehabilitation. Yayasan Hidung Merah currently works with 300 children
offering more than 75 hours of education and arts classes each week.
Yayasan Hidung Merah is looking for Field Education Instructor / Teacher
Position Available : Field Education Instructor / Teacher (South Jakarta)
Contract Date : 3 years contract with possibility of extension
Requirements
1. Bachelor
degree, preferably in English, Education, or Sociology. Fresh graduates are
welcome to apply.
2. Good
understanding of classroom management.
3. Good
understanding of gender equality and domestic violence against children.
4. Strong
English speaking and writing abilities.
5. Able
to work independently with limited supervision/facility as well as a team
player with a range of people in the slum area.
6. Excellent
interpersonal skills, with experience in community facilitation, training, and
organizing event.
7.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft
Office tools and Internet-based
8. Preferable with SIM C
Job Description
Field Education Instructor will work to assist Education Supervisor and to support a department and/or Leadership team. Duties include teaching, communication with kids and supervisor, prepare and present lesson plan and assist education team

Responsibilities & Duties
1. Planning
and implementing creative educational learning activities for children ages
7-14
2. Encouraging
students' skills in public speaking
3. Monitoring
and evaluating student progress
4. Preparing
reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) on project implementation at the
local level, highlighting results/outcomes, programmatic successes, problems’
encountered and possible solutions.
5. Handling
social activities for community development
