Vacancy- ZSL Indonesia Data Entry (Consultancy Contract based)

The Zoological Society of London is an international wildlife conservation organization with a focus on science-based and pragmatic solutions. ZSL has been active in Indonesia for about 10 years, with a particular focus on the overlap between industrial development and biodiversity conservation. ZSL Indonesia is based in Bogor, West Java, with existing field projects in Jambi and South Sumatera.

The UKCCU/NICFI Project works with the Government of South Sumatra, national and district level governments, communities and the private sector to to facilitate and support the government, private sector and local communities, to establish and pilot the sustainable landscape management partnership approach in the Sembilang-Dangku landscape of South Sumatra. The proposed impact of this project is to achieve “Inclusive economic growth and community prosperity, biodiversity conservation, forest protection and restoration, and the ending of deforestation, peatland drainage and wildfires that reduces land-based Greenhouse Gas emissions”.

Scope of Work

Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, the consultant will perform the following tasks:

1. Study Document. Explore all data which existing in each component such 1). monthly report; ZSL internal dan partners 2). Deliverable Partners 3).. project activity report, 4). project visit report, 5). project tracking. 

2. Entry Data. Entry and convert the data which have produced in word into the excel form with clear data set. During the process, data entry person will support by M&E Coordinator and staff in component.

3. Analyze Data. Data analysis conduct by leader of data entry under supervise M&E Coordinator in Palembang office.

4. Reporting. Report writing conduct by leader of data entry under supervise Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Deliverables/Final Products Expected

1.      Instrument developed; The data entry should involve in project briefing with M&E coordinator and identify methodology on how to compile the data from the separated placed, in separated people which were produced in word into agreed template.

2.      Data tabulated; After entry process, the rough data should available in tabulation.

3.      Clear data tabulated; Data entry must filter and screen the data carefully; the data were missed should be found in other source or staff for validation.

4.      Data analyzed; Leader of data entry must provide simple analyzed base on M&E Coordinator guidance.

5.      Final Report; Final report is the last deliverable that leader of data entry must provide for Kelola Sendang. Final report must contain in a good shape of data and information base on the result of analysis. The M&E will supervise this process.

Recruitment Qualifications

The expected team will be undertaken by 4 persons (1 Team Leader, 3 Team Member)

Education

Bachelor’s or student in statistic, mathematic, technic. Have a basic English Language and have data entry experience. 

Functional Competencies:

·       Good in excel

·       Good in math and numbers

·       Basic analytical skill

·       Experience in data processing

·       Strong in statistic (for leader of data entry)

·       Good writing report in Indonesia and basic English

Behavioral Competencies:

·       Detail person

·       Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work with diverse people;

·       Participate effectively in team-based, information-sharing environment, collaborating and cooperating with others;

·       Focus on impact and results for the relevant stakeholders

Others:

Preferable having residential in Palembang, South Sumatera
