The Organisation
350.org is a growing international
environmental organisation that is building a global grassroots movement to
solve the climate crisis and is committed to the principles of justice, values
new perspectives, ideas of all sorts and different ways of working. The
organisation has been in Indonesia since 2015 and their network extends to 188
countries, promoting community-based sustainability solutions for an economy
free of fossil fuels.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Team
Leader East Asia, the Indonesia Team Leader will be responsible for managing
full- and part-time team members, identifying needs and promoting internal
coordination and communication to build a positive, sustainable working
culture. You will lead on developing and implementing the Indonesia program
strategy and identify emerging opportunities that are in alignment with 350’s
global strategy, regional strategy and resources. You will develop and
coordinate national campaigns, building and strengthening relationships with
partners in the region and supporting grassroots leaders in Indonesia.
The Indonesia Team Leader will
represent 350.org amongst partners, media, funders, volunteers and public
audiences and ensure that national and regional campaign stories are fed into
global communications and narrative.

encouraged to apply.
Skills Required
The successful candidate will have
at least 6 years’ experience in campaigning or advocacy, preferably in climate
movement, and a solid track record in managing people. Fluent Bahasa Indonesia
and business level English are required.
- Strong understanding of the national political and industry/corporate stakeholders
- Well developed networking, advocacy and negotiation skills
- Previous experience with budgeting and financial management
