APIK Project Website revamp
and development
Background

countries, providing comprehensive development solutions in areas including
crisis mitigation and stability operations, democratic governance and public
sector management, agriculture and agribusiness, private sector development and
financial services, economics and trade, HIV/AIDS, avian influenza control,
water resources management, and energy and climate change.
Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim dan
Ketangguhan (APIK) Project is a 5-year, $19 million USAID funded Project. The
purpose of APIK is to support the Government of Indonesia to strengthen climate
and disaster resilience, working in an integrated manner from the national
level down to the community level. APIK will help to mainstream climate change
adaptation and disaster risk reduction into national and sub-national
governance frameworks, build the capacity of local communities and the private
sector to address climate change and weather-related natural hazards, and
support the use of information for climate and disaster risk management among
key stakeholders.
Objectives
As
part of communication strategy, USAID APIK has a project website (available in
Bahasa Indonesia and English version) to facilitate wide information sharing of
the project knowledge products. However, the current website needs to be revamped
to make the structure better and layout more modern. The website is also
expected to be mobile viewer friendly. Web developer will work under the
direction of the USAID APIK Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Communication,
Outreach, Knowledge Management Specialist, and IT Specialist. The Web Developer
is responsible for revamping USAID APIK website and ensuring that the website will
be fully functioning by the end of the performance period.
Scope
of Work
The
scopes of work of website revamp consultancies are as follow:
1. Revamping USAID APIK website (Bahasa Indonesia and English version) completed with mobile viewer
version based on the agreed design and features, which includes, but not
limited to:
a.
Providing preferable database
options for the website
b. Providing preferable web analytics tool for the
website
Please note that the website structure is currently
under review and will later be informed to the web developer to be used as
basis to revamp the website.
2. Recommend the preffered CMS, ie: drupal, wordpress,
joomla, etc. Please recommend the CMS that easily operated for web
administrator and layout.
3. Migrating all
data and content to new website.
4. Ensuring
compliance with following standards:
5. In designing the website, please take into
considerations of the following matters:
a.
Ensuring all pages have a
unique meta-description tag featuring a summary of the page’s content
b.
Accessibility:
- Ensuring that the website is fully functioning by the end of the performance period
- Providing training session and a written guideline of the newly developed website for web administration purpose to the Communications and IT team;
- Providing at least six-month post-development guarantee according to industry standards, especially for maintenance and troubleshooting for internal and external problems.
- Provide 1 year maintanance service of website.
Solicitation
Process
Interested offerors shall send email to APIK_Procurement@dai..com to receive complete RFP and SOW documents for further
details on procurement and solicitation process. Invitation for Pre-Proposal
Conference will be sent to shortlisted offerors.
Proposal
Submission
Interested
offerors are invited to send their proposal based on procurement document of RFP- APIK-JKT-0014 APIK Project Website
Revamp and Development. Proposal Submission is no later than 23 July 2018.
Only shortlisted offerors will be notified.
