RFP Assessment of the Acceptance among Health Providers and Caregivers and the Effectiveness of the BCI Materials of VAS in Four Provinces in Indonesia

Nutrition International (NI) formerly known as the Micronutrient Initiative (MI), a renowned International Development organization based out in Ottawa, Canada, has a commitment to eradicate global ‘hidden hunger’ by implementing interventions that focus on women and children in developing countries.

NI has been supporting VAS programming in Indonesia since 2009 in 12 districts of six provinces of Indonesia. These provinces are North Sumatera, South Sumatera, West Nusa Tenggara, Banten, West Java and Riau.  This support has included the development of posters and banners to increase caregiver awareness about vitamin A supplementation for distribution to Puskesmas in Banten, West Java, West Nusa Tenggara and Riau provinces. Therefore, NI seeks to hire an agency/consultants to assess the acceptance among health providers and caregivers and the effectiveness of the BCI materials (poster and banner) to increase caregiver awareness and knowledge..

NI is looking for Agency/ Consultant/s to conduct “Assessment of the acceptance among health providers and caregivers and the effectiveness of the BCI materials to increase caregiver awareness and knowledge about vitamin A supplementation and the August 2018 round of VAS in four provinces of Banten, Riau, West Java and West Nusa Tenggara of Indonesia”.

The activities will be held tentatively in August – November 2018. The timeline is in reference to the time of signing the contract with NI. It is expected that period of consultancy will be about 15 weeks and the final report will be finalized within this period. Link of the RFP can be found in below link:
