The Program
The Indonesia Australia Partnership on Food Security in the Red Meat and Cattle Sector (the Partnership) is a jointly agreed head of government initiative, over 10 years to 2023, underpinned by a A$60 million fund provided by the Australian Government. The Partnership reports to the Australian Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, and the Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board, as the leading Ministers for the Partnership.
It represents a unique forum that brings together key decision makers from government and industry to benefit both countries through strengthening people-to-people, government-to-government and industry-to-industry relationships. It has a commercial focus and aims to raise awareness, attract investment and/or co-funding to maximise the opportunities for development and collaboration amongst the Indonesian and Australian red meat and cattle sector.
The Advisory and Support Group (ASG) is managed by Coffey on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to assist the Partnership to achieve its desired outcomes through the provision of:
* Technical and design expertise;
* Monitoring and evaluation expertise and support;
* Project implementation and management; and
* Logistics and administration support.
To contribute to the ASG, Coffey is currently seeking applications for various position, fulltime, in several location in Indonesia.
The Position
There are several positions that to be needed:
1. Project Leader (PL) (1 position)
Project leader will be responsible to manage overall project implementation by managing a group of implementation team consisting of area coordinators, field facilitators, admin and logistic officer, and database officer. The project leader will also work closely with Project Core Team to ensure project implementation meets project design.
1. Area Coordinator (AC) (4 positions)
Area Coordinator is responsible to manage and oversee Field Facilitators to effectively execute project implementation at districts and recipient groups level. He/she will build and maintain networking with local government to ensure ongoing support from Dinas Kabupaten provided to recipient groups. Area Coordinator will work closely with training team to conduct ToT and Refresher Training at Province or District level. He/ she will report directly to Project Leader.
1. Database Officer (DO) (1 position)
Database Officer is responsible to manage all data management and reporting process from field facilitators and area coordinators. He/ she will provide data analysis and report to Project Leader and or Project Core Team.
1. Field Facilitator (FF) (20 positions)
Field Facilitator is responsible to conduct day to day project implementation at district level. He/ she will work closely with Dinas Kabupaten to oversee and monitor all recipient/ farmer groups and ensure all data collection and reporting process are in place, traceable and accountable.
1. Admin and Logistic Officer (ALO) (1 position)
Administration and Logistic Officer will provide logistical and administrative support to ensure smooth implementation of the project
The Person
To be considered for those role above, you will have demonstrated experience in fields in an international development context, preferably in the agriculture sector.
