Marine Tourism Officer (Alor)

WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Marine Tourism Officer (Alor). This position will be based in Alor - NTT and report to Marine Conservation Site Coordinator Alor & Forest Timur MPAs
 

The job holder will contributes to support the operational activities of WWF-ID in ecological footprint, promoting the active role of the responsible ecotourism sector through a number of action programmers from WWF-ID, develop sustainable financing mechanisms, benefit-sharing and be part of the local Government's support. This will include, but not limited, providing technical assistance for DSCP program, waste management innovation process, and coordinating activities that related to conservation event, media preservation, and published materials to increase the effectiveness of the management of conservation areas.


Requirements for this Position are:

-  University Bachelor Degree major in Tourism, Conservation Management, Social Sciences or related to marine/fisheries 
-  Have minimum of 2 years in program conservation and/or 3 years in advocacy and campaign related to the community reinforcement
