Project Manager of Diabetes Project - Yogyakarta - Humanity & Inclusion

The Increasing access to quality and inclusive diabetes care project will be implemented in Yogyakarta Province. The project is planned to be implemented in 3 districts/city; Sleman, Yogyakarta City and Gunungkidul. The project aims to strengthen the inclusiveness of quality, integrated diabetes services all along the continuum of care in line with SDG's Goal 3 'Leave No one Behind'

In order to implement the project goal, HI is currently looking for a Project Manager for its office in Yogyakarta. The post holder will be responsible for the overall project management as well as project staff.   The detail is as follows:

Position Title                : Project Manager
Location                       : Yogyakarta
Closing date                : rolling (this position will be filled as soon as the suitable candidate is identified)
Basic Salary Range     : Rp 11.6 – 12.8 million IDR depending on objective weighting of candidate’s profile and non-negotiable.

The successful candidate is expected to start early January 2019.


TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the line management of the Operation Coordinator, the Project Manager will be responsible for the project implementation in 3 districts/city; Sleman, Yogyakarta and Gunungkidul. The tasks in particular are:

1.    Formulate the implementation strategy with the team, partners and authorities
2.    Ensure the quality of the project implementation and its compliance to the standard requirement of HI and donor
3.    Liaise with relevant stakeholders
4.    Manage project budget effectively
5.    Monitor, interpret, analyze data and ensure adjustment in project implementation
6.    Produce quality internal and external (donor) reports
7.    Implement project M & E procedures according to HI’s policy
8.    Contribute towards the capitalization of experiences and promotion of lesson learning approach througout the project implementation period
9.    Directly manage the conduct of the project technical evaluation & lesson learnt document
10.    Involve in all recritment process and manage 1 project officer and 1 project faciliator including developing their indivdidual action plan as well as appraisal.
11.    Represent HI at local and national levels

DUTY STATION: Project Manager will be based in Yogyakarta

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

*Master Degree in public health, medical science or related field, or Bachelor degree in those fields with additional 4 years of relevant work experience. Excellent knowledge of the project management cycle, monitoring & evaluation, policy development and  training cycle management
*At least 5 years progressive experience in project management
*Excellent knowledge of the primary health care system with focus on – diabetes, foot care and community based health systems of Indonesia
*Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders
*Research experience desired
*Good knowledge of the disability sector in Indonesia, and/or willingness to work with people with disabilities

*Strong analysis and writing skills
*Organized, creative, motivated
*Ability to deliver the required outputs and outcomes of a project implementation plan independently within time and budget and formulate solutions to challenges
*Excellent networking skills
*Very good in computer and communication skills
*Fluent in written and spoken English

Initial contract will be for maximum 1 year with a possibility for renewal until the end of the project.
