Solidaridad Indonesia will embark on the NISCOPS (National Initiative for Sustainable and Climate Smart Oil Palm Smallholders) project in West, East, and North Kalimantan under the supervision of the secretariat in Jakarta. Two satellite offices in West and East Kalimantan will be established as the extension of our Sintang office focusing on 7 districts of Sintang, Sekadau, Sanggau, Kapuas Hulu, Melawi, Landak and Bengkayang in West Kalimantan; 3 districts of Paser, Penajam Paser Utara and Berau in East Kalimantan; and Malinau in North Kalimantan as we move forward.

With almost 50 years of experience in facilitating the development of socially responsible, ecologically sound and profitable supply chains, Solidaridad is a frontrunner in the area of sustainable economic development. As an international market and solution-oriented civil society organization working through nine regional expertise centres in 52 countries, Solidaridad aspires to transform production practices in such a way that it provides fair and profitable livelihoods and business opportunities, guarantees decent working conditions and a living income, and does not deplete the landscapes where people thrive, now and for generations to come.
 We are looking for energetic and dynamic Indonesian citizens to fill in the spots as team members in Pontianak, Balikpapan and Jakarta offices. Prior experience in working on Climate Change and Mitigation Projects, thorough knowledge of the Government of Indonesia’s INDC, NDPE principles for sustainable green development, sustainable community forest management and sustainable palm oil production will be an added advantage.
