VACANCY : ECONOMIST
The IMF Resident Representative
Office in Jakarta is recruiting an Economist, whose main responsibility will be to monitor
economic developments in Indonesia, identify emerging policy issues, and
undertake economic research. In performing these tasks, the Economist will
be expected to foster and maintain good working relationships with private and
public sector officials, and have the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
Applicants should have a graduate
degree in economics and 2 years of relevant professional experience. Excellent English language skills –
oral and written – and an ability to work independently as well as in a team
environment will be important selection criteria.
This position is open to Indonesian
nationals only.
