Vacant position for National Disaster Risk Management Specialist

World Bank Project - Building the Capacity of Water Supply Service Providers in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Adaptation is looking for National Disaster Risk Management Specialist position. S/he will be responsible for providing technical inputs to all outputs; contribute to stakeholder consultation meetings and workshops; and perform any other tasks as required by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:

- at least 10 years of experience in designing disaster and climate resilient infrastructure

- an advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent preferred) in a relevant discipline such as disaster management, risk management, climate change adaptation public policy, or related areas;

- excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and an ability to prepare and manage the development of high-quality reports, project documentation, and communications materials;

- excellent in depth knowledge of the disaster risk management sector, including familiarity with institutional and regulatory frameworks, flows of funds, and government budgeting processes in Indonesia;
- experience working in the Indonesian disaster risk management sector; and
- experience developing disaster and climate resilient standards and guidelines.
