I.                     Organization Background

JAPFA Foundation was established in Jakarta in March 2015 functioning as Corporate Social arm, coordinating sustainable social initiatives of JAPFA Group, especially in Indonesia. Translating and implementing company motto of ‘Growing Towards Mutual Prosperity’, JAPFA Foundation functions to ensure the company growth matches the social-economic growth of its surrounding communities. JAPFA Foundation has mission to empowering communities, especially the youth by providing access and quality-improving programs in the fields of Agriculture Education, Nutrition and Sports as well as specific agriculture-related fields. JAPFA Foundation.. In order to fulfill the objective, JAPFA Foundation is looking for Field Coordinator for projects implemented in Yogyakarta Province areas[1].

II..                   Overview of the role:

Field coordinators must work to ensure good qualitative education in targetted schools concentrating on programs with basic infrastructure and a friendly environment. Field Coordinator must make good relations with cluster level stakeholders involved in our field of work to implement all activities related to the JAPFA Foundation program. This role requires field trips within Yogyakarta Province; specifically Yogyakarta and Bantul District.




III.             Key Areas of Responsibility:
A.      Management:
  • Contribute to identifying school needs and develop an action plan
  • Developing concept and technical preparation arrangement for project activities; socialization and  accompaniment of the projects
  • Registration, liaison with respective stakeholders; mainly of Health and Education respective stakeholders
  • Motivation and retention of program achievements with attention to project frameworks
  • Provide closed asistance to targetted beneficieries of the project implemented in respective area
  • Undertake periodic participatory monitoring and evaluation of the projects
  • Ensure and maintain active community and stakeholders participation within the projects
  • Ensure that the Program implemented is carry out and there is an increase in the level of student learning
  • Full support of activities carried out by project beneficiaries
  • Maintain all records related to the projects at the community

  1. Administrative
  • Provide progress reports, project final reports and periodic monitoring reports
  • Provide assistance to develop project financial reporting maintained by project beneficieries
  • Produce documents related to project activities as needed; invitation letters, permits, media promotions (of the projects; in coordination with Communication and Event Department)
  • Other administrative issues as needed .

IV.                 Key Areas of Preferences:
  1. Preferred Education Background:

·         Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Education or Economic.
·         Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and local dialect with minimum skills in English proficiency

  1. Preferred Working Experience:
  • Experience in handling community empowerment projects or school development programs; preferebly experience in Nutrition Improvement, Socio-entrepreneurships or School Based Management programs.
  • Able to adapt to the work environment
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to communicate and maintain attitude very well
  • Able to travel outside the region and doesn’t have health problems

  1. Preferred Skill Set:

  • Knowledge about Right to education, Child psychology, Motivation theory, Nutrition, Community empowerment or Entrepreneurships.
  • Computer literate; proficient in MS Office, MS Excel in particular and internet navigation are required
  • Good knowledge of usage of smart phones, Email and various applications.
  • Organized, Credibility and responsiveness to all situations, Communicative
  • Counselling and guidance, inclusive, open to change and entrepreneurial
