Greenpeace exists because this fragile earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change.. It needs action.
Greenpeace
is an independent global campaigning organization that acts to change
attitudes and behavior, to protect and conserve the environment and to
promote peace. Our perspective is that the problems threatening our
planet and people are connected and systemic. Internally embedding
justice means creating an organization where every one of us respects
each other and feels we can bring our authentic self to work. Justice
in all we do: campaigns, programs, internal policies, team work and
workplace culture, relationships, expertise and representation.
“Our
mission to protect the planet must not blind us to the reality of the
work we have to keep doing to build and maintain our own organization as
a safe space for creative, collaborative activism.” quoted from
Jennifer Morgan and Bunny McDiarmid, Greenpeace International Executive
Directors.
