Urgent Vacancy: Recruitment Specialist - Save the Children Indonesia - Jakarta

Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As ‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

 

RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

1 (one) position based in Jakarta

ROLE PURPOSE :

The role holder will provide appropriate, timely and professional human resources management service to make sure that recruitment process done properly in line with prevailing procedure and provide effective way to recruit employee with right skill in the right time and ensure all the employee working for SC have relevant and valid contractual documents. S/he will support the HR Operations Manager in updating recruitment policy and procedures, in line with the global guideline, country law and workforce market requirement.   S/he will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems in partnership with centre colleagues. The position holder will work with the managers to support socialisation of HR policy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR management or relevant field required
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in Recruitment management or HR, with a reputed national or international organization
• Ideally, 3 years’ relevant experience gained with international donor or NGO strongly preferred
• First rate organisational skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritise effectively whilst working to tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle
• Ability and confidence to communicate appropriately with people of all levels, both internally and externally
• Good verbal/written communication skills and a clear understanding and awareness of HR protocol
• Flexible and organised approach to handling a varying workload
• Knowledge in general HR management and experience in HR information system
• Understands the importance of confidentiality
• High initiative and proactive approach
• Resilience to work under pressure and heavy workloads
• Strong leadership trait to lead Recruitment matters
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia required
