Consultancy for Interpreter/Translator
WLF is looking for experienced interpreter/translator to provide translation services under a consultancy contract for a period of one year with a three months trial period. This is a home-based consultancy work.

The William and Lily Foundation (WLF) is a Jakarta-based philanthropic organization established in 2009. Our mission is to empower marginalized communities by bridging learning with access to opportunities. As an active grant-making foundation, we work closely with local implementation partners on three focus areas: Education, Health, and Economic Empowerment.
Scope of Work
Under the functional and administrative guidance of WLF and the overall supervision of Head of Programs, the Translator / Interpreter will be responsible for the following duties:
- Translate project reports, needs assessment, meeting notes, and other documents into English and/or Indonesian and vice versa as requested;
- Perform other translation-related duties as requested by the Head of Programs.
Requirements
- Diploma or University (S1) graduate in languages or other related social sciences;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Indonesian;
- Minimum of two (2) consecutive years’ experience in translation of development project documents;
- Previous employment in international organizations working in development in Indonesia;
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
- Ability to work with time sensitive documents;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Interested candidates should submit a CV, a cover letter clearly stating their relevant translating experience that includes quotation on rate (per word/per work) for most recent translation service, and a sample of translation work from Indonesian to English that includes the original source document.
