Title                  :  Project Officer

Duty Station      :  Jakarta, Indonesia

Report to          :  Program Development Manager WE &SR

Duration            :  1 (one) year

Functional Context

The Project Officer falls under the supervision of and reports to the Program Development Manager OPEN WE & SR. The person work closely with OPEN program team, Project Managers, Finance Officer and Operations Manager.

Roles and responsibilities

1.   Support the successful implementation of the project’s technical tasks and related events. Such tasks may include seminars/conferences, trainings, meetings, presentations, evaluations and assessments, and other tasks. Items to be arranged may include participants confirmation; travel and hotel arrangements; preparation of materials; and report writing;

2.   Work closely with program admin on administrative and financial matters related to program implementation;

3.   Support and monitor the implementation of the project baseline and endline researches, including monitor progress of the activities to measure performance and results;

4.   Assist Project Manager in monitoring detailed implementation plan for grantees and ensure it consistently carried out by implementing partners in proper way, ensure integration of inclusion principles within the program

6.   Maintain external relations with regional and national stakeholders;

7.   Contribute to the annual programming and program reporting;

8.   Carry out other duties as may be assigned related to project activities.

Knowledge, experiences and competencies

·         Relevant academic level of working and thinking.

·         Relevant experience: minimum 1 year.

·         Expertise in a relevant sector, theme or methodology.

·         Experience in relevant institutions.

Project Officer graded in Grade: 6 (from 1-13 Hivos’s SEA salary grade).
