BBC MEDIA ACTION’S PROJECT IN INDONESIA

 

1. Backgrounds

BBC Media Action is the BBC’s international development charity, uses the power of media and communication to support people to shape their own lives.

BBC Media Action has recently set up a country office in Indonesia in 2019.

In order to support the operational activities of Indonesia’s office, we plan to rent one (1) unit of a vehicle (car) along with a dedicated driver, and the specification mentioned on point B.

2. Requirements for the vehicle (car):

The requirements for the vehicle are:

1. Toyota Innova G or V Series (White/Black)*
2. The manufacturing year minimum is 2018*
3. Fuel using gasoline not Diesel
4. Good working condition and maintenance history
5. Must have all legal permit and tax receipts for driving in Java area.

Requirements for the driver:

1. Healthy physically and mentally
2. Have a valid driving license
3. Disciplined and prioritize safety
4. Have a good behavior
5. Neat and tidy
6. Could speak basic English
7. Responsible and accountable

 

3. Driver’s Working Hours & Overtime

Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm.

Please also submit the rate for overtime within weekdays and weekend period, also if driver need to drive out of town (with and without overnight stay).

 

4. Duration of Rental Agreement

The duration for the rental agreement is for one (1) year, with a possibility of extension for another year subject to satisfactory service.

Expected start date is 1^st July 2020.

5. Service and Substitution of Vehicle and Driver

Rental company will provide the regular service for the vehicle (every three months minimum), and ad-hoc service, if required, in case of any issues during the period of agreement.

Rental company should provide a substitute vehicle, if the current vehicle does not work properly during the agreement period. The substitute vehicle should be provided with the same specification and in proper time (within 24 hours).

If the appointed driver couldn’t present to work, then rental company should provide a suitable substitute driver on the same day.

6. Insurance

Please ensure your vehicle under full comprehensive insurance.

7. Rental Fee

 

Please submit your bids for a monthly rental fee for one year period in two conditions:

 

1. Monthly Rent fee for One-year period vehicle only,

 

2. Monthly Rent fee for One year period, The vehicle includes Driver as specified above.

 

All price quotations must be inclusive of all taxes.

Also you should send us list of your clients portfolios, desirable have experience with the INGO sector.

8. Payment

The payment for this rental agreement will be paid in monthly basis during the period of the agreement.

Payment will be transferred a maximum of fourteen (14) days after we receive the original invoice and other supporting documents.

9. Termination

In case of a breach of the agreement, or unsatisfactory services, the renter reserves the right to terminate the contract and recover any advances paid, with a notice of ten (10) days.
