staff and dairy farmers in three cooperatives towards gender awareness thematic issue
Background
SNV
Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) is an international
not-for-profit development organisation established in 1965 in the
Netherlands. Our
global team of advisors use their specialised expertise in Agriculture,
Energy and WASH to improve the health and livelihoods of millions of
people, with a focus on the poor and marginalized groups.
SNV
will support Friesland Campina’s/FFI’s “Women Empowerment Programme,
Project “Srikandi”. The interventions aim to increase gender equality,
leadership,
capacity and economic empowerment for 1,500 female and male farmers in
three (3) cooperatives in West and East Java. The implementation period
will be total of 2 years, from 2020-2022. SNV’s main intervention aims
in creating a better enabling environment
for female farmers at household as well as cooperative level in 3 dairy
cooperatives; by training 1,500 female and male farmers and extension
staff.
Essential Criteria for Pre-Qualification
Individual
Consultant or Firm shall have at least ten years’ experience in
developing training materials on gender related issues, delivering
gender
awareness training to people with various background and education
levels, including Training of Trainer, conducting household dialogue, as
well as monitoring and evaluation. Working experience in dairy sector
and or in rural community’s livelihood would be
an advantage
EOI Submission
Qualified individual consultant or firm interested in providing the work are invited to submit their EOI
to
indonesia-procurement@snv.org
so they may be pre-qualified for submission on RFPs/ RFQs by
latest 30 June 2020. Your EOI shall describe why you are qualified to
provide the work, attaching your CV or Company Profile and sample of
relevant work (training module).
