Oxfam in Indonesia - Consultant Policy Brief on Current and Future Local Humanitarian Leadership in Indonesia (INT6970)

Do you have experience in humanitarian policy and practices in Indonesia?

Do you have experience in writing the policy brief by using evidence-based policy in robust methodology?

Do you have experience in research protocol including data protection policy? If the answer is yes, then would like to hear from you!

 

Qualification

 

  • Understand humanitarian policy and practices in Indonesia
  • Understand the context of humanitarian in Indonesia
  • Understand global humanitarian policy and standard
  • Having capacity to do write the policy brief by using evidence-based policy in robust methodology?
  • Has commitment to implement safe research
  • Can demonstrate the report in good quality
  • Understand gender equality
  • Understand research protocol including data protection policy

  • Organization Profile and/or Individual Curriculum Vitae (If its organization please share team description: composition, leadership and curriculum vitae of all members)
  • Detailed budget and concept based on TOR and proposed activity
  • Timeline for the guideline with clear details concerning the work to be executed, and specifying interim deliverables
  • Proposal should e submitted along with proposed budget subject to national tax.
  • An example of guideline produced by the research team or personal in English and/or Indonesian if available.
  • Resume should be submitted electronically by November 6th at the latest to HRjakarta@oxfam.org.uk with "“Consultant
  • Developing Policy Brief on Civic Space in Indonesia - INT6969.” " as the subject of your email.

SELECTION CRITERIA Essential: * Tertiary qualifications in financial management, accounting or equivalent discipline related to the roles and functions of the position. * Experience with financial management of large, complex international development projects. * Demonstrated high-level experience in the development and implementation of financial management systems including the ability to operate accounting software. * Proven skills and experience in management and a proven ability to deliver results in a challenging, low capacity environment. * Demonstrated high-level teamwork abilities and an aptitude for managing teams in a cross-cultural environment. * Solid verbal and written communication skills in English. Desirable: * Knowledge of local taxation laws. * Language skills in Tetum and/or Indonesian. * Prior experience with AusAID projects. * Previous experience working in South-East Asia.
