Micro Planning Meetings & Capacity Building Activities - East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia

Nutrition International (NI) is an Ottawa-based, international not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that the world's most vulnerable especially women and children in developing countries get the vitamins and minerals they need to survive and thrive. NI has been implementing high-impact, high-coverage health, and nutrition initiatives for vulnerable communities in Indonesia since 2006. NI’s priority objectives in Indonesia include the survival and health of children, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women as well as women of reproductive age, primarily through improved coverage and use of key micronutrients, such as vitamin A, zinc, iron and folic acid as well as wheat flour fortification and iodized salt.

The Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation (­BISA) project is an integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive project designed jointly by Save the Children and Nutrition International (BISA team) to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to realise the goal of the National Strategy to Accelerate Stunting Prevention (2018-2024). BISA targets two Provinces – West Java (WJ) and East Nusa Tenggara (ENT).

BISA through NI seeks to contract a local agency to organize the following activities, in East Nusa Tenggara province: 1) micro-planning meetings on on forecasting requirements 2) ToTs at district level, and 3) cascade training sessions for puskesmas staff.
