Nutrition International (NI) has been implementing high-impact, high-coverage health, and nutrition initiatives for vulnerable communities in Indonesia since 2006. NI’s priority objectives in Indonesia include the survival and health of children, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women as well as women of reproductive age, primarily through improved coverage and use of key micronutrients, such as vitamin A, zinc, iron and folic acid as well as wheat flour fortification and iodized salt.

Save the Children (SC) has been working in Indonesia since 1976 and has worked in 16 of Indonesia’s 34 Provinces. In 2017, SC worked in 11 Provinces and 43 Districts, reaching over 230,000 direct beneficiaries. SC’s programming and technical expertise are primarily in the areas of health and nutrition, education, and child rights – including child protection, child poverty, and child rights governance. Save the Children is also an active player in the national policy and advocacy space, particularly in the realm of working with sub-national government actors on effective management of financial and technical resources.

The Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation (­BISA) project is an integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive project designed jointly by Save the Children and Nutrition International (BISA team) to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to realise the goal of the National Strategy to Accelerate Stunting Prevention (2018-2024). BISA targets two Provinces – West Java (WJ) and East Nusa Tenggara (ENT).

BISA through NI seeks to contract a local agency to organize the activities in East Nusa Tenggara province to Conduct advocacy meetings and workshops with relevant stakeholders to facilitate development and enforcement of stunting reduction related regulations and guidelines at District and Province levels in BISA project districts of East Nusa Tenggara.

The submission deadline for proposals is Thursday, March 4, 2021 by 17:00 HRS. West Indonesia Standard Time.
