ADRA Indonesia is seeking an experience and passionate Fundraiser to support Elderly First (ELFi) vaccination project as summarize below:

Background

Yayasan ADRA Indonesia is an Agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The mission of the agency is to serve humanity so all may live as God intended. ADRA Indonesia belongs to the worldwide ADRA network, comprised of more than 120 supporting and implementing country offices.

 

Since March 2020, ADRA Indonesia has focus its Covid-19 response projects to assist elderly in East Java, West Java and Sulawesi to enable elderly people to stay at home and prevent them from being exposed to Covid-19. Starting June 2021, ADRA Indonesia has focus its Covid-19 response program to enable Elderly to have more access to vaccine and support government efforts on prioritizing elderly in vaccination program to reduce mortality rate because of Covid-19.

 

Functions of role

 

The Fundraiser’ role is to raise money from private sectors, public or crowd funding including raising money from church members to support Elderly First project. The ELFi Fundraiser will support Project Manager to develop risk analyses and balancing time-cost ratios and to implement the fundraising plan that are most appropriate and will have the highest chance of success.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The ELFi Fundraiser is required to undertake the following tasks:

·       Identify and asking support from potential donors, including donation from private sectors, businesses and work with agency to organize crowd funding.

·       Develop new and creative offline and online fundraising/telemarketing, including writes applications and mail-shots, using direct mailing to reach a range of potential donors

·       Inspire new supporters, especially from religious leaders and church leaders to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters

·       Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information

 

Qualifications and Competencies Required

·       A bachelor’s degree on marketing, public relations, communications or at least have minimum 5 years’ experience in organizing campaign or telemarketing fundraising. 

·       Good communication skills, including ability to communicate in a clear and interesting way to audiences

·       Proven ability to use online platforms to raise donations and skill to manage or maintain records of donor information.

·       Ability to establish and maintain working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity.

·       Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability.
