RFP : Research on Covid-19 Vaccines Acceptances

 

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL : RESEARCH ON COVID-19 VACCINES ACCEPTANCES

 

The role

AIHSP is seeking an organisation to conduct two research: 1) Research on the Views, Acceptance, Concerns and Accessibility towards Covid-19 Vaccines, 3T and Prevention, and 2) Research on Impact of COVID-19 on Gender Equality Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI).

 

1.   Research on the Views, Acceptance, Concerns and Accessibility towards Covid-19 Vaccines, 3T and Prevention

The preferred supplier will be responsible for conducting research regarding to the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccines to priority groups, especially the elderly and people with disability at national level and specifically in the priority provinces which are Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, Bali and South Sulawesi. Specifically, the objectives of this researc are to understand:

·       Information and contributive factors related to accessibility of the COVID-19 vaccine.

·       Current acceptance, concerns and trust towards COVID-19 vaccine, 3Ts (test & trace, treatment), and preventive behaviors (5Ms including using mask appropriately, hand hygiene, physical distancing, stay at home-reduce mobilization).

·       Misperception, misinformation, and disinformation/hoax around the vaccines and COVID-19 that are consumed by the targeted groups

·       Understand the preferred (or less preferred) content, channels and means of communication related to COVID-19

·       National and subnational government response to COVID Pandemic

·       Community women’s and men’s response toward COVID-19 pandemic

 

2.   Research on Impact of COVID-19 on GEDSI

The preferred supplier will be responsible for conducting research on the impact of COVID-19 on GEDSI, specifically in the AIHSP priority provinces which are Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, Bali and South Sulawesi.

The objectives of the research are to:

·       Understand how COVID-19 has impacted women and men from diverse backgrounds and contexts (such as disability, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, geographical location, and religion)

·       Identify the factors that contribute to the differential impacts on women and men from diverse and marginalised groups

·       Identify relevant approaches and/or strategies that have been used during COVID-19 that address the factors contributing to the differential lived experiences of women and men from diverse and marginalised groups

Both researches must be completed within three months of contract start date.
