Background |

Main Purpose |
|
|
|
Defining, coordinating and monitoring the medical activities of the Capacity Building Hub for Emergency Preparedness and Response according to MSF protocols and Indonesia MoH standards and procedures, under the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding between MSF and MOH. This is to ensure the delivery of quality health related service activities for emergency preparedness and response and helping to contribute in improving overall health conditions of target population in the community. |

Accountabilities |
|
|
|
• Participating in the definition of the medical strategy for the project and the initial implementation of defined activities and programs. • Coordinating, assessing and supervising the proper functioning of relevant medical activities according to the defined project strategy. • Together with the Project Coordinator, identifies and meets with relevant local, regional and international stakeholders with the goal of having an integrated and sustainable training and response program for emergencies. • Participates in the creation of the medical curriculum/syllabus for the Capacity building hub, including identifying relevant target audiences for each training and the relevant trainers and facilitators.
• Contributes to writing reports (i.e. monthy SitReps, medical statistical reports, etc.) by ensuring quality of the collected data and by doing proper analysis of the data. • Representing MSF and liaising with sub-districts and districts MoH counterparts;

Requirements |
|

Education |
Medical doctor or paramedical degree with desirable specialization or training in Tropical Medicine/Public Health or related studies |
|
||
|
|
Experience |
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership/management role in a humanitarian organization
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, skills in leading a team, communication written and verbal English & Bahasa, facilitation, Trainings/Learning and team development and computer skills
Proven management success for project, finance, operations, including safety and security, and personnel, including staff wellness and supervision.
Demonstrated experience working in the Indonesian public health system, with government, community, local NGOs and relevant stakeholder.
Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring of project and emergency response programs
Demonstrated experience in produce good quality report for government, internal and relevant stakeholder |
