Job Vacancy CAT Project Coordinator

Background

Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) is an Indonesia think tank on energy and environment, based in Jakarta. IESR aims to accelerate low carbon energy transition in Indonesia and address its impacts to Indonesia economy and society. IESR produces data and science based analysis for policy makers, stakeholders and public.

 

IESR is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for CAT Project Coordinator

 

The selected person’s responsible are:

1.     Working with GECP PM to implement work plan and strategy for CAT project

2.     Manage day to day CAT activities

3.     Ensure the delivery of the country’s analysis

4.     Develop and structure database and information for CAT’s analysis

5.     Communicate with CAT’s consortium regularly

 

Qualification

1.     Education; minimum Bachelor degree in science, engineering, or economics, a Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage

2.     Strong analytical skill and proven good in conducting research (desk research and data collection)

3.     Strong project management skill

4.     Professional level and excellent in English, both writing and speaking

5.     Familiar with climate change issues and related policies

6.     Experience in writing a research paper, policy brief, or other technical publication in English

7.     Take charge of self-development, creative, and able to take initiative

8.     Professional attitude, discipline, able to handle multi-task and can work under pressure

9.     Competency in MS application, possess the skill to other tools for data collection is an advantage

 

Salary: IESR’s rate, depends on qualifications

Starting date: Jun 2022
