Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial is an Indonesian organization, born out of
an active collaboration between Netherlands based Hivos and several
like-minded Indonesian academics and civil society leaders who subscribe
to the values and mission of Hivos. The agenda for such a collaboration
was set in the context of Hivos’ desire to phase out its direct
presence in Southeast Asia by promoting sincere decentralization and
local ownership. As the name itself suggests, the purpose underpinning
establishment of the new entity is to promote humanistic values in the
social, economic, health, and cultural fields which is defined in terms
of the ability for each individual to assess and decide independently
and responsibly, the right to freedom, dignity and a passion to create a
just and tolerant society.
Title : Consultant for Finance Officer
Duty Station : Dili, Timor Leste
Report to : Accounting Manager & Finance Controller
Duration : 1 year (June to May 2022)
1. BACKGROUND
Yayasan

purpose is to promote humanist values in the social, health, and
cultural fields which is defined in terms of the ability for each
individual to assess and decide independently and responsibly, the right
to freedom, dignity and a passion to create a just and tolerant
society.
Yayasan Humanis seeks qualified candidates for the position of Consultant for Finance Officer.
2. AIM OF THE JOB
The
Consultant Finance Officer prepares the administration and financial
accounting records, which contributes to the overall functioning of the
financial system
3. FUNCTIONAL CONTEXT
The Consultant Finance Officer works with the Finance Controller, Accounting Manager and Finance Administration Officer.
4. Deliverables
1) Day to day basis checking on the operational cost of office and project for Timor Leste office.
2) Checking
the accuracy and collecting all supporting documents such as invoices,
quotations, bidding documents, employee reimbursements for cash and bank
transfer before input into accounting system.
3) Check
the accuracy of advance request and liquidation report from staff and
ensure the completeness of supporting documents for approval.
4) Filing all administrative and financial documents as Standard Operations Guideline including scan documents when needed.
5) Ensure
completeness and working closely with Project Officer and Programme
Development Manager of project team as per donor’s regulation.
6) Manage taxation and remuneration administration and calculation based on government regulation
7) Coordinate
with tax consultant to ensure calculation, payment and supporting
documents are correct, as well as communication with tax office.
8) Prepare financial supporting documents of some projects regularly in coordination with project team for smaller scale.
9) Prepare bank reconciliation.
10) Support audit by preparing documents related to audit.
11) Performs other duties as may be assigned by Finance Controller, Grant Finance Manager and Project Manager.
5. QUALIFICATIONS
The consultant must comply with the following qualifications:
- Relevant education level of working and thinking.
- Relevant work experience: minimum 2 years.
- Expertise in accounting and finance
- Work experience in international environment.
