Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since
2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January
2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to
contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate
suffering. The main sector for the programme include:
• Water and
Sanitation
• Sustainable livelihood
• Education
• Child Welfare

The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi
and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according
to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is
carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Senior MEAL
& Project Officer based in Bima/Dompu - Indonesia.
Reporting Line:
Post holder would
directly report to MEAL
Coordinator.
Overall Responsibility:
The Senior MEAL
and Project Officer will be responsible for collecting, storing, analyzing data
and producing project related documentation and reports during the project
implementation period. This position will assist the local partners in
implementing systems to ensure the effective, accurate and sustainable
collection of information and data as it relates to climate change project
called BUCRACCE (Building Community Resilience Against Climate Change). S/he
will ensure efficient and timely submission of accurate reports from all
project partners and will maintain an appropriate filling system of received
data and reports from them. S/he will also perform and assist local partners in
conducting MRV (measurement, Reporting, Verification) of GHG mitigation. S/he
will also work closely with the agroforestry and climate change specialists and
relevant staff in project design, research, monitoring, evaluation and
reporting. The post will involve traveling to project sites in 20 villages 3
districts/city Bima and Dompu.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Establish business as usual scenarios so as to track progress made by the BUCRACCE Project;
· Assist and Track progress towards the achievement of the project objectives;
· Follow up a recommendation of feasibility study report developed by the external consultant to meet with the project implementation.
· Assess and assist the current capacity of the local partners and assist them in terms of knowledge and practices to monitor, archive, analyze and communicate MRV data;
· Review of documents, work plans, TORs, progress reports and midterm evaluation report (if any) to assess progress made in the implementation of various activities of the BUCRACCE project;
· Assess and critic the activities and strategies put in place by BUCRACCE project partners in implementing the project;
· Capture the roles played by different stakeholders in the implementation of the project and proffer a more participatory approach;
· Submit regular monthly MEAL report including MUR not later than the first week in every month
· Ensure and assist the local partners in deploying required MEAL activities in each project stage according to MEAL framework
Skills:
· Demonstrated ability to conduct/oversee evaluations, reviews, assessments, etc.
· Proven experience in project management
· Proven experience in facilitating training and transfer of knowledge and skills.
· Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English,
· Organizational and time management skills required;
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
· Competence in Information Technology (IT will be an asset).
Requirements:
·
The applicants
must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in development studies management,
environment and other related subjects, and formal training in monitoring and
evaluation, with at least 3-5 years’ experience in MEAL related jobs. Master’s
Degree in a related field will be an added advantage;
· Past experience in working and managing any Government/Non-Governmental Organizations will be an added advantage;
· Past experience in managing climate change mitigation and adaptation projects will be much added advantaged
