Revised MSF E-Hub - Capacity Building Hub for Emergency Preparedness and Response - VACANCIES

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international medical and humanitarian, non-profit organization acting in accordance with the principles of humanitarian assistance, impartiality, neutrality, medical ethics and medical confidentiality, independent from any political, religious, military or economic authority.

 

In compliance with MSF’s charter and based on an independent assessment of needs, MSF provides medical and humanitarian assistance to populations in distress without discrimination on the basis of ethnical affiliation, religion, gender or political convictions, in the contexts of epidemics, endemic diseases, natural disasters and conflicts. The humanitarian and impartial nature of MSF’s action and operational principles is recognized and respected as a requirement for and condition of MSF’s activities.

 

MSF in Indonesia is working under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Health (MOH). The area intervention in the current MoU are DKI Jakarta and Banten Province with program :

1. The Adolescent Health Care Program
2. The Disaster and Health Crisis Management Program/ E-Hub - Capacity Building Hub for Emergency Preparedness and Response

 

E-Hub - Capacity Building Hub for Emergency Preparedness and Response is about

1.                   Increasing  the capacity of healthcare workers and non-healthcare workers in disaster and health crisis preparedness and management.

2.                Strengthening coordination, collaboration, networking, and partnership among parties involved in disaster and health crisis preparedness and management through coordination forums and regular discussions.

3.                Providing technical support through the provision of guidebooks, guidelines and instruments in disaster and health crisis preparedness and mitigation.

4.                Strengthening community and adolescent group empowerment in disaster and health crisis preparedness and mitigation.

 

E-Hub - Capacity Building Hub for Emergency Preparedness and Response is looking for several position (based in Jakarta)  as :

4. Medical Emergency Training Supervisor
