Water Sanitation Engineer – Mentawai
In its role as a support to the Mercy Corps Office in Mentawai, the Water and Sanitation Engineer is to verify need for water and sanitation structures, location and ensure groups of beneficiaries are involved in the installation process of the WASH structures. The main task of the Water and Sanitation Engineer is to design, budget analyze and supervise construction of WASH structures.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree of Technical is preferred.
Experience in WASH program.

Willingness to work in remote rural settings in Mentawai Island.
Two years experience working in Microsoft Office applications and Auto Cad is required.
Good written and spoken English is a plus.
Independent and have strong organizational skills;
demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.
This position will be as temporary staff for 6 months.
