Management Systems International implements the USAID-funded SIAP 1 program, which contributes to democratic governance and economic growth in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government. The program is search for an accountant to be based in Jakarta:
ACCOUNTANT
The Accountant is responsible for implementing all financial and accounting functions for the project ensuring that all transactions are properly processed, recorded, and reported on time. The Accountant is responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are in line with MSI and USAID regulations. S/he reports to the SIAP Director of Administration, Finance, and Human Resources.
Scope of Work:
Implement day to day operation of MSI-SIAP1’s accounting activities in Jakarta, including accounts payable, purchasing and accounts receivable by using QuickBooks accounting system;
Implement all financial aspects of the MSI-SIAP 1 Jakarta office;
Prepare and submit timely and accurate MSI-SIAP monthly financial report to MSI headquarters;
Prepare and submit MSI-SIAP’s monthly/annual payroll tax payment and reporting to the GOI tax office in timely fashion;
Maintain financial records (receipt, voucher, invoice and etc.);
Requirements:
Degree (S1/D3) in Economy preferably majoring accountancy;
Knowledge of QuickBooks accountancy software;
Minimum three years of experience performing similar duties as an accountant and finance administration;
Experience with financial transactions, preparing financial statements and Tax;
Good team player and able to work independently;
Good communication & writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English;
Experience with USAID projects and regulations is a strong preference.
