Save the Children vacancies: FFA in Kamal, SBB and HR Assistant

Save the Children partners with children, communities, local organizations and the government of Indonesia to transform the lives of Indonesia children and their families. Currently Save the Children has an immediate need for experienced staffs to be a part of our project in Kamal, Seram Bagian Barat and in Jakarta.

1. Field Finance Assistant (code: FFA-SBB) - 1 post based in Kamal, Seram Bagian Barat

The incumbent is responsible to provide daily operation of cashiering activity, monitoring cash transaction and maintaining the communication with the bank to ensure all payment activity run smoothly in office in line with Save the Children policy and procedure.

Core Duties and responsibilities are as follow:

* To ensure that cashiering activity (including daily cash register, cash count weekly and monthly basis) and payment activity run effectively
* To ensure that correct level of cash in the field office is available to cover the needs
* To prepare all vouchers and attached with supporting documents
* To input the data from payment and receipt vouchers to the accounting computer system on a daily basis
* To maintain advance and outstanding invoices
* To ensure cash and bank reconciliation
* To maintain the filing system for vouchers and supporting documents and all documents related to finance section
* To prepare monthly field finance reports to be sent to Jakarta Office
* To maintain relations with bank to ensure all bank transaction managed properly

Requirements:

* Bachelor degree in accounting of finance field
* At least 2 years experience in education project/activity
* Skilled in finance and accounting system
* Knowledge about prevailing tax regulation
* Excellent knowledge of computer programmes (Excel, spreadsheets, etc)
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong representation skills & good negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a multicultural team and with minimum supervision as well

2. Human Resources Assistant (code: HRA-JKT) - 1 post based in Jakarta

The post holder will provide appropriate, timely and professional service to make sure that all HR documents are available in employee's personal file and good HR database management in place and all payment to supplier/consultant is done on time. He/she will also support the team with the recruitment process & procedure especially in administrative area. The HR Assistant will work under the supervision of the HR manager and work in close coordination with HR Officer in providing HR support. In coordination with HR Officer to develop, update and maintain HR database system that can give alarming the management about the expiration of employment agreement and be able to provide a summary report as required by HR team (e.g. gender balance within organization, turnover data). She/he will maintain appropriate records and ensure confidentiality regarding personnel activities and personnel data including employment documentation, evaluations, exit interviews, grievances, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

Education & Experiences:

* Diploma in business administration, management, or other related social sciences, preferably Bachelor degree. Other professional qualification is an advantage.
* At least 2 years experience handling general HR or Administrative in HR and 1 year experience in International NGO.

Skills and knowledge:

* Good knowledge about operational HR admin and the use of HR system
* Essential knowledge of current Indonesian labour laws and employment practice
* Having an excellent organizational ability to work to deadlines, manage time well and confidentiality.
* Experience of working on the internet and in the management and use of spreadsheets
* Good communication skills both verbal and written - English and Indonesian, and computer skills - Word, Excel, use of the Internet, databases, and email.
* Strong ability to work collaboratively with HR team
* Developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral to establish effective relationships and having diplomacy skill
