Business Development Team Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of the firm and bd& marketing services to the bd and marketing process management and efficiency improvements
Confidentially and proactively liaise with lawyers to deliver on their marketing requirements while understanding their objectives and delivering on those objectives
Effectively manage the client contact database and deals database
Excel in the creation and management of internal and external marketing materials and communications that includes pitches, capability statements, newsletters, client alerts, advertising, press releases and related areas
Ensure brand compliance for all internal and external brand communications and activity
To act as the central co- ordination point for a busy team of BD & Marketing professionals by providing
critical administrative support
administrative support – document and database creation, editing, management and proof-reading; diary management and meeting arrangements through excellent time and management skills and prioritisation, 360 event management and meeting arrangement, overseeing budget and purchase of all promotion activity
Under take other activities as directed by team management relating to daily operations and roll-out strategy

Requirements:

This role requires someone with an international mind-set, proven experience and skills set to successfully operate at a Team Assistant level who has:

A tertiary qualification from a reputable university
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
Preferred to have experience in international BD & Marketing administration and co-ordination role
Strong numeracy skills
Personal traits – a relationship builder with an extrovert and friendly personality confident of building
rapport with the various stakeholders in the firm, good inter-cultural management skills, strong and
effective interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with requisite personal drive and energy, happy to roll-up their
sleeves and get involved in different projects
A strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
The ability to work independently, able to remotely, support head of department who travels
frequently, a strong team player who is able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
