International Relief and Development, Inc. (IRD), is a non-profit organization specializing in international development and humanitarian assistance in over 40 countries.
IRD works with a wide range of partners to design and implement, and provide technical assistance in the areas of food and agriculture, health & hygiene, infrastructure, economic growth, democratic governance and community development, community stabilization, and emergency response. In anticipating the upcoming project,
IRD Indonesia is inviting creative, dynamic, committed, experienced, and highly motivated candidates to join the team. The ideal candidates will have experience developing new concepts and development projects, field research and intelligence gathering, and exceptional proposal writing skills and experience, for the following positions:
Proposal Manager
§ B.S. degree in related field; M.S. degree is preferred;
§ At least 5 years experience working in a similar position in an NGO/INGO;
§ Excellent ability to coordinate and manage all phases of the proposal preparation process including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP;
§ Having excellent knowledge about AusAID platforms, regulations, strategy, and policy;
§ Proven experience winning of awarded proposals;
§ Gather, collate and format information in order to meet the requirements for pre qualification and tender submissions;
§ Write donor specific responses to questions raised during proposal processes;
§ Identify, write, and capture project innovations and best practice for use in proposals;
§ Research and write supporting information for use in proposals including case studies, CVs, and project best practice;
§ Liaise with operations team to extract and produce bespoke written copy for use within pre qualifications and tender submissions;
§ Proven track record of proposal and bid writing, ideally within the social development focusing on new concept projects;
§ Good analytical capabilities;
§ Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a team, as well as independently;
§ Demonstrated leadership skills to engage and motivate a diverse team members, ability to meet deadline; and detailed follow-through;
§ Excellent communication skills, and exceptional facilitation and organization skills;
§ English language skills at level-4 for both written and spoken, native in Bahasa Indonesia (indicated in the CV/resume);
§ Information management skills (MS Office, email, internet), and good interpersonal skills.
