CADG, a leading organization in engineering, agriculture and community development requires an enthusiastic Finance Officers to join the Engineering team in Afghanistan. Central Asia Development Group is one of the leading private contractors in southern region of Afghanistan. CADG Engineering focuses on the reconstruction and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects in this region, such as implementation of large scale road construction, vertical construction and irrigation engineering programs. CADG Engineering has invested heavily in capital equipment and has mobilized it to mostly remote areas that are plagued with poor security and a difficult environment.
The duties of the Finance Officers include:
Ensuring finance transactions compliance with CADG’s internal policies and procedures.
Administrating the day-to-day financial requirements which includes project expenses, operational expenses, office expenses, payroll and etc.
Recording and reconciling advances, expenditures, and liabilities.
Preparing LN staff payroll and taxes.
Ensuring proper documentation of all costs and expenses incurred in the course of running of this project.
Managing and reporting for various aspects of administration and finance: Staff contracts, casual labor contracts, service contracts, preferred supplier and/or sole source supplier contracts, CFW Payments, etc.
Other tasks are assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and attributes:
Degree / Diploma Holder with 2-3 years of experience.
Proactive and able to work independently
Ability to work well in changing, entrepreneurial environment
Team-oriented personality
Outgoing , flexible and proactive personality
Proven ability to operate under pressure
Strong oral and written communication skills
