Human Resources Officer base in Jakarta

Save the Children partners with children, communities, local organizations and the government of Indonesia to transform the lives of Indonesia children and their families. Currently Save the Children has an immediate need for experienced staffs to be a part of our big Operations Team and will be based in Jakarta.

The post needed as follow:

Human Resources Officer - based in Jakarta(code: HRO Jkt)

This positions exist to provide appropriate, timely and professional human resources management service to make sure that all the staff working for SC are processed for payroll, insurance and Jamsostek properly and are manageable. With the support of HR Assistant to manage HR filling system and HR database are developed and updated regularly and to support the implementation of HR policy and procedure for national staff. She/he will also maintain and responsible to compensation & benefit areas as well as ability to handle the issues appropriately with the support from Human Resources Manager.

Core Responsibilities:

1. To conduct timely and accurate payroll process in line with prevailing procedure and at all times operate with integrity, assuring the confidentiality of information and maintaining records and keeping them secure
2. To issue appropriate employment agreement for all SC staff and consultant (both national and international staff working for long term program) in line with prevailing law and regulation.
3. Monitor and lead the implementation of compensation and benefits routine processes (calculations, compliance review, payment order preparation for allowances & payroll, etc) and covering Indonesia program
4. Assist HR Assistant to develop, update and maintain HR database system that enables to provide summary report as required by HR team, including playing on of the key roles in the Effort Report development process.
5. Support Human Resources Manager (HRM) to solve day to day staff & HR issues as well as provides advise & recommendation regarding all aspects of HR including coordinating and sharing of HR information from/to HR representative or units across the country
6. Monitor and provides the implementation of HR administration processes, staff employment status, and develops HR Monthly Report based on HR or other division needs
7. Develops and maintain relationship with government or services providers and ensures those internal and external regulations, policies and procedures updates, and apply proper follow up and action when necessary to relevant parties.
8. Dealing with Jamsostek and Tax office related with staff payroll
under HR Manager guidance and approval.
9. Assist HRM in maintaining consistency in HR policies, procedures and practice implementation across the offices; provides inputs in reviewing and modifying HR policies & procedures, support program activities & staffing budget, including in promoting and disseminating them.
10. Support HRM on implementation and development of staff wellness program initiatives, planning and strategy
11. Leads the implementation of the staff orientation training, monitors and review the induction process, and when necessary assist supervisor in coordinating staff induction process.
12. Assists in the development of proper job descriptions, performance objectives, staff development plans, organizational charts, Benefit & compensation review and adjustment
13. Provides technical support which relevant to this post roles and responsibilities to other offices whenever required

Requirements for Education, Skill and Knowledge:
* Bachelor degree in relevant subjects such as: law, social, administration and human resources. We will also consider applicants with secretarial education background.
* At least 5 years experience in general Human Resources area with 2 years experience working with International NGO or company.
* Good understanding about Labour Law and it implementation on payroll management, supported with good computer skill.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral to establish effective relationships and having diplomacy skill
* Training and facilitating skill
* Proven administration and record keeping ability and attention to detail
* Good understanding about law
* Confidence and good conflict resolution skills
* Willing to work within rules (legislative and legal).
* Ability to get on with people from different backgrounds
