The Center for Population and Policy Studies Gadjah Mada University will host the 6th Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights (APCRSHR) on 19-22 October 2011 in Yogyakarta. The CPPS opens position for NOTETAKER that will be tasked to take notes of the 4-days conference, summarize and draw out key points of each panel or parallel session, etc.
Qualification:
§ Minimum bachelor degree (S1)in social science or other relevant field of study
§ At least a minimum three years of relevant experience working on the issue of gender and reproductive health and rights
§ Solid understanding of gender, and reproductive and sexual health and rights concepts
§ Very good communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to convey concepts and recommendations, both orally and in writing, in a clear, concise style.
§ Able to work cooperatively with colleagues in a multi-cultural context.
§ Good command of English is required
§ Typing speed minimum 70 words per minute
§ Fully proficient computer skills and use of relevant software including word processing, Internet, etc.
Professional Requirements:
§ Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
§ Very good interpersonal skills, including ability to operate effectively across organizational boundaries; ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
§ Demonstrated ability to complete the task within the time frames
