It manufactures and sells tires since 1891 for all kinds of vehicles, publishes maps and guides and operates a number of digital services in more than 170 countries. Michelin continues to establish an industrial base close to its markets with 69 production plants in 19 countries. Each year, its plants produce 197 million tires.

In order to ensure its sustainable growth in ASEAN, Michelin launches a regional program to recruit and develop its future commercial leaders.

Depending on your background and ambition, Michelin offers you a bespoke and complete development path over few years, in different countries, in order to prepare you to your future commercial leadership role:

Product expertise: Receive full training on high performance and quality products and services.

Sales and Marketing Management: Learn and develop the specific Michelin way in sales, marketing and people management by deputation in countries within ASEAN.

Operations Management: Discover and experience work within a structured team at Supply Chain, Logistics or Demand to Cash hubs to learn and get inspired by Michelin’s operational excellence.

Functional responsibility: Get exposed to strategic thinking and planning whilst exerting responsibilities in a business support role.


YOUR FUTURE:

Operational management role with a strategic mindset

In your future Commercial Leader role of an ASEAN country, you will be responsible for :

Business Development

¤ translate global sales agenda into bottom line results
¤ build, develop, lead, and execute marketing and sales initiatives for Michelin
¤ ensure consistency of commercial policies and brand positioning for the designated
products
¤ deepen market penetration by rigorous channel management and ensuring good quality of
distribution infrastructure

People management

¤ lead the commercial management team and develop human capital
¤ manage and co-ordinate country commercial resources

Business management

¤ get full P&L responsibility
¤ exercise commercial and financial control (planning and monitoring)

Requirements:

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong personality and high potential

¤ Bachelors degree in business or engineering
¤ Demonstrated hands-on sales or marketing experience
¤ Successful experience in people management
¤ Fluent in English (oral & written) with excellent communication and presentation skills
¤ Willingness to be expatriated during your career with Michelin
