As part of a partnership established between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV). signed in April 2010, SNV is working with the ADB to develop feasibility studies to launch six private equity funds focused on providing debt and/or equity to private sector
companies interested in developing and/or scalling inclusive business ventures in 6 Asian countries - on of which is Indonesia.
Accordingly, we are looking for consultans in Indonesia who will support SNV by conducting activities for the following 2 components of the study.
- PRIVATE SECTOR MAPPING : To identify and map companies with the potential to develop or currently implementing inclusive businesses in Indonesia.
- CAPITAL MARKET STUDY : To assess the private equity market in Indonesia and its current and potential opportunities focusedd on inclusive business
investment.
Assignment period : November 2011 - February 2012
Requirements :
1. Private sector development specialist
- Background on business administration / economics; advanded degree preferred.
- Experience working with the private sector, finance in Indonesia. Experience with private equity and investment analysis preferred.
- Good knowledge on BoP and inclusive business models.
- Excelent communication/interview skillss, especially with top managers of the firms.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good report writing skills
- Good interview and facilitation skills.
2. Capital Market Especialist
- Background in private equity and/or social investment fund management, finance, capital marketss. Advaced degree preferred.
- Good knowledge and/or understanding of inclusive business
- private sector experience
- Experience in financial market/private equity sector, especially on operating and structuring equity funds in Indonesia and/or in Asia.
- Understanding of/experience in fund design, fund management and investment strategy development (preferably in part in a BOP context)
- Excellent communication/interview skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Good facililitation skills.
- Excellent report writing skills in English.
