Human Resources & Administrative Officer

Established in 1888 Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is one of Germany’s oldest and largest social welfare organisations. ASB currently has a portfolio of over 100 projects in relief, rehabilitation and community based development. ASB entered Indonesia following the May 2006 earthquake and has established projects in emergency relief; reconstruction and training; inclusive education; disaster risk reduction and livelihoods sectors. ASB is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and committed individuals for the following position:

Human Resources & Administrative Officer

Location:Yogyakarta Officewith possible travel
Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension (subject to completion of 3month probation period)

Summary of job profile/responsibilities:
To provide administrative and human resource services and support to ensure the smooth running and successful delivery of ASB Indonesia’s projects in line with ASB regulations, Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) and agreed partner regulations and expectations.

Key requirements:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree
2. Minimum 4 years related experience
3. Knowledge of Indonesia Labour Laws
4. Knowlege of Imigration regulations
5. Knowledge of Jamsostek regulations
6. Previous relevant experience required
7. Excellent Bahasa Indonesia and English Languageskills
8. Demonstrable knowledge of basic finance procedures and financial compliance
9. Computer literate
10. Excellent organisational skills
11. Track record of working smoothly with a range of stakeholders and personnel
12. Ability to multi-task and to work to achieve deadlines
13. Willingness to travel as and when required
14. Able to work independently under own initiative as well as in a team in a multicultural environment
15. Qualified individuals with no previous NGO background will be considered
