Consultancy vacancy in British Council Indonesia (ACDP-Evaluation of International Standard Schools)

The British Council is seeking Indonesian national and international consultants for following positions in response to the anticipated project entitled Evaluation of International Standard Schools under the Analytical and Capacity Development Partnership (ACDP) scheme. ACDP is a facility to promote policy dialogue and institutional reform of the education sector to underpin policy implementation and help reduce disparities in provincial and district education performance formed by the Government of Indonesia (GOI), the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the European Union (EU) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). ACDP supports policy development, organizational change and planning for capacity development for the education sector. 
 
The duration of the project is 5 months

The development objectives of the Evaluation of International Standard Schools are to contribute towards achieving medium to long term social and economic national development goals through the development/adjustment of policies, strategies and programs for improving school level education quality.

British Council is seeking the following individuals to become part of our research team for this topic.

1. TeamLeader/EducationExpert(National) 
The consultant will have the following qualifications,skills and experience:

•  A minimum of a Masters Degree in education,or related area;
•  Atleast 10 years experience in development cooperation,includingexperienceofschool leveleducationqualityimprovementstrategies,e.g.relatedtocurriculum,teachingand learning,assessment,andschoolmanagement;
•  Experienceasa TeamLeaderindevelopmentconsultancyassignments;
•  Specificexperienceofmediumofinstructionissues;
•  Experienceinschoollevelfinancing;
•  Experienceindesigningandmanagingeducationresearch/evaluations;
•  Excellentreportwritingskillsincludingcompletionofcomplexsurveysandevaluations; and
•  ExperienceoftheIndonesianeducationsystemisdesirable.

2. EducationQualityExpert(International) 
The consultant will have the following qualifications,skills and experience:

•  A minimum of a Masters degree in education, or related area;
•  At least 10 years international experience related to:
•  education legislation/regulations related to school level education;
•  education quality assurance system; and
•  school level curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment and management.
•  Excellent report writing skills.

3. EducationFinanceSpecialist(National)
The consultant willhave the following qualifications,skills and experience:

•  AminimumofaMastersdegreeinfinanceorrelevantarea;
•  Atleast10yearsexperienceoffinancialanalysis;
•  ExperienceoftheIndonesiaeducationsystemandeducationfinancialanddataanalysis
is desirable

4. DataAnalyst(National)
The consultant willhavethefollowingqualifications,skillsandexperience:

•  AminimumofaMastersdegreeinstatisticsorafieldofquantitativeanalysis;
•  At  least  5  years  experience  related  to  analysis  of  survey  data and  Government  of Indonesia data on education or related social sectors; and
•  Excellent  skills  in  the  analysis  and  presentation  of  statistics,  including  mapping  of geographicallyreferencedinformation
