The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation (AIPD) is seeking a qualified person to fill a vacant position of Senior Public Policy Specialist. The purpose of this position is to support the Ministry of Home Affairs' Director General of Regional Finance in policy making.
Duration and Timing of Inputs:
Anticipated start date: April 2012. A total of 60 working days over six months
Qualifications / Experience:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with a minimum of ten-years experience.
• Strong understanding and experience of the MoHA regulation formulation process. Previous extensive experience in formulating MoHA regulations on PFM-related issues is an advantage.
• Good understanding of GOI's public financial systems and decentralisation issues.
• Proven ability to deliver high quality outputs on time and on budget.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and well-developed interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is an advantage
• Understanding and commitment to gender mainstreaming.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Good team player.
