Advisers: NGO Financial Management Capacity Development
Background
STATT’s programs with civil society in Indonesia are growing quickly. We are seeking applications to our team of advisers from qualified Indonesians with experience in financial management. A good candidate will demonstrate success in managing financial systems and in acting as an external adviser to financial managers. The core outputs of the work will be mentoring, advice, training and tools that will support NGO management teams in improving the efficiency and transparency of their financial systems.
The roles will commence in October and run for an initial period until July 2013. The advisers will work under the supervision of a Team Leader and alongside advisers who are delivering non-financial services to the same NGOs. The position is based in Jakarta and will likely involve short trips to other locations in Indonesia.

For more information about us, please see www.statt.net, particularly our Resonance Program.
Your Responsibilities
Assessments of financial management in the NGOs already exist. This will include integrating financial management improvements with broader capacity development plans that will be created by the NGOs in partnership with your team.
In this job, your tasks will include:

·                Provide flexible advisory and mentoring services to NGO staff, including work on-site in their offices.
·                Provide timely and comprehensive reporting to the Team Leader on your activities.
We are filling two positions, one of which will be filled by a more experienced adviser who can provide advice and suport to the second adviser.
